Mint Building Services takes immense pride in having played a pivotal role in the realisation of this vibrant dining precinct, having been tasked with the comprehensive delivery of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services, including state-of-the-art kitchen facilities, across the 60,000 square feet area.

The Exchange TRX, which began welcoming visitors on 29 November 2023, has quickly established itself as a cornerstone of Kuala Lumpur's new international financial district, offering an eclectic mix of shopping, dining, leisure, and entertainment options. With over 400 stores spanning 1.3 million square feet of nett lettable area and a current occupancy rate of 95 percent, it stands as a testament to the confidence leading international and local brands place in this innovative retail concept introduced by Lendlease Malaysia.

The Food Exchange, in particular, stands out as a modern interpretation of the traditional hawker scene, serving up a rich tapestry of Malaysian favourites and local delicacies known for their flavour and heritage. Mint Building Services' comprehensive involvement underscores its dedication to setting new standards in the mechanical and electrical fields, ensuring that the Food Exchange's infrastructure is not only functional for the vendors but also enhances the overall dining experience for the mall’s guests.

Mitch Wilson, project director and Lendlease Malaysia head of retail, highlighted the Exchange TRX's role as a social catalyst within the Tun Razak Exchange, featuring communal spaces and the TRX City Park, the largest rooftop public park opened in Kuala Lumpur in recent times. This development is part of the lifestyle quarter of the Tun Razak Exchange, a 6.9-hectare precinct that also includes residences, boutique offices, and a hotel, representing a joint venture between Australia-based Lendlease and TRX City Sdn Bhd.

As the TRX Food Exchange welcomes its first customers, Mint Building Services reflects on the project with a sense of accomplishment and looks forward to the positive impact this dining precinct will have on Kuala Lumpur's dining culture and the broader community. This project not only showcases Mint's prowess in mechanical and electrical engineering but also highlights its ability to be a part of ventures that are set to redefine the luxury dining and retail sectors.
